DIVITTORIO CENTER FOR AUtism
Our Mission
Our Philosophy
empower Those with autism as well as their families through personally tailored educational programs and therapeutic interventions, promoting growth, independence, and quality of life.
At the DiVittorio Center for Autism, we believe every child with autism possesses unique strengths, perspectives, and boundless potential. Our philosophy centers on the conviction that individualized education and therapeutic care can unlock each student’s ability to grow, learn, and thrive.
We are dedicated to creating an environment where children feel understood, supported, and valued for who they are. Through personally tailored educational programs, we honor every student’s learning style, interests, and pace. We integrate therapeutic interventions that nurture communication, social-emotional development, and self-regulation—empowering students to build independence and confidence in both academic and everyday life.
We see education as a collaborative journey involving families, educators, and therapists working together toward shared goals. By engaging families as active partners, we foster consistency and connection between home and school, ensuring that each child’s growth extends beyond the classroom.
Our ultimate aim is to promote a lifelong love of learning and self-discovery, helping every child achieve not only academic success but also a sense of belonging, purpose, and joy. We measure success not by conformity, but by progress—celebrating each milestone that enhances quality of life and independence.

Providing Support in the Lifelong Autism Journey
The DiVittorio Center for Autism was created out of a personal mission. One driven by love, frustration, and a refusal to accept the status quo. When my son Nicholas was diagnosed with profound autism and labeled nonverbal, I searched everywhere for meaningful support. What I found were endless waitlists, generic programs, and a system that simply wasn’t built for kids like mine. I realized we weren’t alone, so I decided it was time to build what we all look for. Today, the DiVittorio Center stands as a lifeline for families navigating the complex autism journey. We support individuals from the moment of diagnosis through age 22 with a full spectrum of services, including early intervention, personalized therapy, medical care, and transition planning and education. We work with your adult as they “age out” of pediatric services, but not out of our community. Our team is here to walk beside you—step by step, challenge by challenge—so no parent ever has to face this alone, no one on the spectrum has to navigate a system that wasn’t meant for them, and everyone has a chance to thrive. We believe every single person deserves a real chance to thrive, and every family deserves care that’s timely, tailored, and deeply human. That’s our mission. That’s our promise.
