Who we are
The DiVittorio Center for Autism is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving rural Pennsylvania families by providing comprehensive, life-long support for individuals on the autism spectrum. As a full-spectrum autism hub, the Center is committed to helping individuals thrive from the earliest stages of life through young adulthood by combining early diagnosis, evidence-based intervention, specialized education, and community resources in one inclusive and welcoming environment.
From the moment a family begins the journey with an autism diagnosis, the DiVittorio Center is there every step of the way. Through early intervention services and support classrooms tailored to preschool-aged children, the Center lays a strong foundation for learning, communication, and social development. As children grow, the Center provides specialized educational programming through grade 12 — and up to age 22 where appropriate — that meets each student’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Recognizing that rural communities often face significant gaps in access to quality services — from early screening to therapeutic supports and inclusive educational settings — the DiVittorio Center removes barriers that can prevent families from finding the help they need. By offering convenient, coordinated services locally, the Center ensures that children and young adults on the autism spectrum have access to:
Individualized educational and therapeutic programming
Family support and resource navigation
Social skills development and peer engagement
Transition planning and life-skills growth
Community outreach, training, and awareness
At its core, the DiVittorio Center for Autism builds and strengthens community by empowering families — helping them feel supported, informed, and connected. Through its holistic approach, the Center fosters not only developmental progress but also dignity, confidence, and opportunities for meaningful participation in school and community life. In rural Pennsylvania, where options are limited, the DiVittorio Center stands as a beacon of hope, inclusion, and possibility for individuals with autism and their families.
