DIVITTORIO CENTER FOR AUtism

Our Mission

At the DiVittorio Center for Autism, we support children with autism and their families through personalized education and therapy designed around each child’s strengths, needs, and pace. Our goal is to help every student feel understood, build confidence, develop independence, and grow in ways that improve everyday life. Working closely with families, educators, and therapists, we celebrate progress in all its forms and help each child thrive with a sense of belonging, purpose, and joy.

Our Philosophy

We are dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and their families through personalized educational programs and therapeutic support tailored to each person’s strengths, needs, and goals. We believe meaningful growth happens when children feel understood, supported, and encouraged to learn at their own pace. Through compassionate instruction, individualized interventions, and close collaboration with families, we help students build confidence, develop independence, strengthen communication and social-emotional skills, and improve their overall quality of life both in and beyond the classroom.

Providing Support in the Lifelong Autism Journey

The DiVittorio Center for Autism was created out of a personal mission. One driven by love, frustration, and a refusal to accept the status quo. When my son Nicholas was diagnosed with profound autism and labeled nonverbal, I searched everywhere for meaningful support. What I found were endless waitlists, generic programs, and a system that simply wasn’t built for kids like mine. I realized we weren’t alone, so I decided it was time to build what we all look for. Today, the DiVittorio Center stands as a lifeline for families navigating the complex autism journey. We support individuals from the moment of diagnosis through age 22 with a full spectrum of services, including early intervention, personalized therapy, medical care, and transition planning and education. We work with your adult as they “age out” of pediatric services, but not out of our community. Our team is here to walk beside you—step by step, challenge by challenge—so no parent ever has to face this alone, no one on the spectrum has to navigate a system that wasn’t meant for them, and everyone has a chance to thrive. We believe every single person deserves a real chance to thrive, and every family deserves care that’s timely, tailored, and deeply human. That’s our mission. That’s our promise.
